About our learning library

The Confiance Learning library contains a range of self-paced learning units and supporting resources that have been developed in close consultation with workplace experts. All the learning units come as templates that are targeted towards practical information and activities that can be verified and validated by experts within your own organisation.

The templates are designed in Microsoft Office programs so that your company has the ability to edit and customise the content, layout and design to suit your organisational needs, which then allows you to develop your own learning library or to integrate the learning templates into your existing skill development program. The Office format also makes it easy to do translations so you can create your documents in more than one language. We have a team of graphic designers, illustrators and animators that can do any customisations for you, or you can use your own graphic design team.

The library is comprised of a number of different Departments, with each Department containing Learning Units and resources specific to that topic. To find out more about what is in each unit, you can click on the Department of interest. If you would like a copy of all the units, download the CL Library Brochure.

The Learning Units within a Department are comprised of a set number of units per topic. For example, Administration has nine separate units covering various aspects of administrative functions, and within each of those units there are Parts that allow the learner to progress through the units at a pace that suits their workload and organisation timelines.

At the end of each Part within the unit there is a section that allows the learner to be tested on their knowledge of the information within that Part. The idea is that the learner and their trainer, supervisor or mentor will go over the answers to ensure that the learner has understood the information, and is able to apply it directly to their workplace or performance situation.

There is also an Interim Verification form at the end of each Part that allows a trainer, supervisor or mentor to sign off that the learner has shown competency in that particular Part of the unit. At the completion of all the units, your organisation can record that the person has been deemed competent in that particular skill/topic, and potentially provide some form of formal achievement acknowledgement.

It is highly recommended that learning is verified by someone who has a greater level of knowledge and skill in the area of learning, as this ensures that the individual undertaking the learning is actually enhancing their performance. It also ensures that a learner has support and resources for their activities. However, if your organisation would prefer not to conduct Interim Verifications of competency, then those pages can be deleted from your unit templates.
